A collaboration between Heidi Darveaux and Eva Tusquets, SHE AWAKENS imagines human evolution alongside Artificial intelligence, predicting the intertwining of human consciousness with ai. It foretells a future where sentience is not limited to organic beings, but has emerged in cybernetic consciousness after lifetimes of assimilating into the human psyche.
While the images were shot in real-time and edited by humans, we asked chatgpt to describe the process of a cybernetic being becoming conscious with human intelligence for the first time:
